Ziggy!

今朝、シャワーを浴びている時にある私のツボに入る笑える話を思い出しました。それは。。。

2年前のこと。。。私が、海外で韓国レストランで食事をしている時のことです。その時いっしょに食事をしていた友達は、日本に80年代後半から９０年代に日本に住んでいた外国人の友達でした。

その友達とは、日本語で話したり、英語で話したりします。その時は、お互いに日本語モードでした。そのレストランには、日本人観光客達もたくさんいました。

私：″おいしーね！”

友達：″おいしーよね！”

そして、2人食べる事に集中。。。しばらくして。。。

友達：この歌誰が歌っていたんだっけ？″I wanna make it tonight~終わらない夜に～何とか何とかっていう歌。Mina、知ってる？”

私：″え～！何、突然？！え～と、なんだっけ？でも、しってんだよね～！え～っと、う～んと。その歌のタイトルは、、、、、″グロリア”だよね？”

友達：″そう！そう！でも、だれが、歌ってんの？”

私：″え～思い出せない!!!え～と～う～んと！。。。。。。。。。”私、かなり、頑張って思い出そうとしている。。。

5分経過。。。

私：″思い出せない～！誰だっけ～！”

とその時突然、見知らぬ２０代前半の男の子が私達のテーブルに来て

男の子：″すいません、突然。その答えは、″Ziggy”です！あーすっきりした！横のテーブルで、聞いていて、じれったかったんです。それでは、失礼します”

と歯切れの良い話方をした彼は、ニコニコして去って行きました。

私達、そのSituationに初めは言葉を無くし、何秒後かに、大爆笑でした。。。その後。。。

友達：″あの人、若いのに何でZiggyしってんの？”

私：″だよね～！”

Talking of Spike…!

Not only that. He’s a jealous bird. I know it sounds strange, but I’m not kidding. When I was writing my previous message, he got jealous of my pen. ‘Hey!’ he seemed to be thinking, ‘Don’t hold that pen! Hold me!’ It’s funny, isn’t it? I mean, birds have tiny brains, but they seem to have their own bird-size feelings. But then again, I guess it’s not so strange after all if you’re prepared to admit that humans aren’t a special case, but just the fanciest model the factory has come up with up till now.

Spike!

My bird’s been in a very curious mood lately. When he’s out of his cage, he flies here and there and, wherever he happens to find himself, plays with whatever he comes across. That’s great, but he has this thing about electric wires, which is obviously a problem, so I always have to keep my eye on him. Not ideal when you’re trying to relax.

Petrol!

I went to my usual petrol station today but I was shocked to see the price! It had gone up yet again! However, although the petrol station I use isn’t a self-service place, the latest price is 145 yen a litre. Compared with other places, it’s very reasonable, I think.

二ールターナーはイングリッシュヴィレッヂ錦糸町、海神両校の講師です。

二ールはとっても、堅実で優しい人です。彼のしぐさ、行動などなど、たまに私の笑いのツボに入ります！もちろん二ールは私を笑わせようとしている訳ではございません。彼はいつでも、一生懸命です。

エピソード１－二ールの足音は本当に静かでたまに本当に聞こえません！″誰もいないっかなーと思って、鼻歌を歌っていて、だんだん自分で歌に熱入り始めたその時！″Mina~!”という声が私の背後から。。。びっくりして後ろを振り向くと、私が一人で熱唱しているのに、まじめな顔で私をみつめている二ール。。。もう、恥ずかしいの通りすぎて大爆笑一人でしてしまいました。大爆笑しすぎて、なぜ私がこんなに笑っているかの説明が笑いすぎて言葉にならず、″＃＃＃＃NIq＆％＄＃？I#$?~!!!!”みたいな意味不明連発。それでも、二ールは私の話を理解しようと一生懸命！その堅実な二ールを見て、また笑い止まらず！彼は、意外なところで笑いを提供してくれるので、ほんと、サイコー！

Reggae!

Recently, I’ve been listening to Reggae music!

I used to listen to it a lot when I was in my early twenties. When I’m listening to it now, I remember around that time. Reggae music makes me happy!

When I ‘m playing beach volleyball, I sometimes listen to it.

My favourite performers are Inner Circle, Big Mountain and Bob Marley!

気の持ちようですよね？！

イギリスから帰ってきて10年！家の電気製品がお見事に、２，３ヶ月に1回の頻度で壊れます！（笑）ていうか、きびしー！最近やっと壊れないなーと思っていたら、1ヶ月前、私がコンピューターを使う部屋のヒーターが壊れました！壊れた事を発見した時、思わず“きたー！”って大声はっちゃいました！自分が織田裕二さんかと思いました！

その時、“ちょっと、耐えてみよー”と思って、寒くても“さむくなーい、さむくなーい！”と言って、呪文を自分にかけ、ちょっと日に焼けた自分の腕をみて、だましだまししてきました。でも、最近はだんだん暖かくなってきたので、“よーし！”と思っていたら、今日、めちゃくちゃ寒いですよね！呪文だけでは足りず、“どうしよう？”と思った後にした私の行動は。。。ストレッチして、腹筋！なので、今は体温まって、ブログ書いています！人生、気の持ち方次第ですよね？！っていうか、違う話題を書こうとしていたんですが、体動かしたら、忘れちゃいました。。。思い出したら、書きます！

For my mail magazines’ readers “Mashed potatoes”

5 May Queen potatoes, peeled and cut in half.

About 30g margarine.

up to 100ml warm milk.

Steam the potatoes for 25 minutes.

Mash the potatoes with the margarine.

Gradually add the milk and whisk vigorously.

The amount of milk you add depends on how you like your mashed potatoes.

Bread and Butter Pudding- Shiho san, I’ve found it after all!

50g butter

6 small slices bread

100g currants and sultanas

2 eggs, beaten

50g caster

suger

vanilla essence

250ml milk

1, Butter bread, remove crusts and cut in half diagonally.

2, Wash fruit, place between layers of bread in the dish.

3, Mix eggs, sugar and essence together and add the milk gradually. Pour over the bread. Bake.

Oven temperature is 180.
