さて、あなたは毎日、スキンケアをしていますか？あなたが男性なら、あまり

興味ない話ですよね！でも、とりあえず、その事について面白い話をしたいと

思います。日本では、ホワイトニング化粧品がどこの化粧品カウンターにでも

ありますが、海外ではこのような製品を見つけるのは結構難しいって私発見し

たんです。特に、ヨーロッパでは！また、アジアの国でさえ、日本にある商品

量に比べたら、少ないんです！１つの理由は、女性の美に対しての見方が日本

とヨーロッパでは違うと思うんです！ヨーロッパの女性は日焼けした肌になり

たいんです。彼女らにとっては、日焼けは魅力的なのです。だから、ヨーロッ

パには、セルフタニング（それを付けると肌が日焼けした色になる）商品が

もっとあるんだと思います！これに反して日本では、白さが美の印だと言われ

ています。これって面白いと思いませんか？人っていつも無いものねだりです

よね！

Hello, everybody!

Hello, everybody! I hope you’re getting used to receiving my mail

magazines in the first and the third week of the month. Although my

mail magazines are produced less frequently than before, I hope you

can still enjoy reading them.

Anyway, do you look after your skin every day? I bet if you’re a man,

you aren’t so interested in that! But I’d like to tell you an interesting

story about it anyway. In Japan, you can find whitening cosmetic products

at any cosmetic counter but I’ve found that it’s quite hard to find such

products in foreign countries ― especially in Europe! Having said that,

even in Asian countries, although you can find some products of this kind,

there aren’t as many to choose from as there are in Japan! I think one of

the reasons is the different perception of women’s beauty in Japan and

Europe! European women want to have tanned skins because, for them, a tan

is attractive. Consequently, you’ll find more self-tanning products in

Europe! Conversely, in Japan, a pale complexion is viewed as a sign of

beauty. Don’t you think it’s funny? It seems as if people always want

the things they haven’t got!
