Finally saw the 3D ‘Alice’ over the weekend-enjoyable daftness, always like Johnny Depp, say 8\/10. (‘Avatar’ I finally caught on the plane-miniscule and 2D but still enjoyable.) Also saw ‘Inglorious Basterds’ from Tarantino-got to say his films have been on a pretty steady descent from ‘Reservoir Dogs’ (11\/10) for me. But still pretty good . Although I’ve yet to see ‘Death Proof’ which does sound a bit of an uber cock up. Speaking of so bad it’s, um, bad…’Anaconda 2′ on TV last week. Stunning. I saw the first one back in 2004, if there’s an ‘Anaconda 3’, 2016 sounds about right for viewing. High hopes also for true terribleness from ‘Snakes on a Plane’ if it ever turns up on TV. Although the ultimate dire film crown for me must still go to ‘Killer Clowns from Outer Space’-rubbish and boring, a stunning double whammy.
