The English Village Band’s Hiro!

He went to Okinawa to train the local staff 2 days ago.

Apparently, he’s staying there for 2 weeks!

I hope he can enjoy his time there!

Kim and Iain!

Kim and Iain worked for us a long time ago!

They were good teachers! They were popular among our students!

I really got on with  them. They came to Japan last week!!!

I was really happy to see them!

They looked the same as before!

And they were still happy-go-lucky, which was so cool!!!

Happy News!

One of our Kaijin kids students has been staying in hospital for a few months, because she  has weak bones by nature.

I had been very worried about her but her mother just phoned me a little while ago and told me she had come out of hospital! I was so glad to hear that!!!

While she was in hospital, her mother and I phoned each other.

She’s such a sweat little girl! I always can’t help wishing I could give some of my strong healthy bones to her.

She’s coming to our school this week!!!

I’m really really looking forward to seeing her!

I really want to hug and kiss her!!!

またまたキッズ！

今日は、キッズのクラスがいっぱいある日です。小学校6年生のクラスでの出来事を書きたいと思います。このクラスでの、私の目的は、会話だけでなく、リスニングだけでなく、発音とスペルをコンビネーションとして覚えさしてあげたいといつも心しています。ただ、キッズは、書く事が大嫌い！学校の授業をやって、英語のレッスンに来ているから、仕方ありません。なので、どうやったら、楽しく、みんなで、一緒に英語をマスターするかを課題にレッスンをしています。私がこのクラスを受け持ってから、数ヶ月経ちましたが、最近、みんな苦手な発音とスペルをコンビネーションとして書く事ができるようになってきました！すごーく嬉しいです！

今日は、みんな学校からバテぎみで、レッスンにきたので、チョコレートとお茶をみんなで食べてから、元気が出たところで、レッスンをしました！

すると。。。

また、ひとりの女の子が、何かに受けて笑い出しました。。。あはははははははははははははははは!!!!!!

すると。。。

みんなに（私も含め）感染し。。。あはははははははははははははははははは!!!!!!!!

また、その女の子は“明日、腹筋が筋肉痛になる～！”と言いながらも、“あははははははは～！”とまだ笑っていました！

子供達の笑い顔は、本当に良いですね！

My Holiday- Supplement

The last day of my stay on a tropical island, when we were playing beach volley ball, it suddenly started raining heavily, so my beach volleyball partner and I ran into a beach bar.

And we started having a casual conversation, which we hadn’t done because we were always busy playing beach volley ball!!!

And I discovered that he’s a guitarist in a band, so we started talking about music.

Then, he brought a guitar from the bar counter and he started playing reggae music, so I joined in and sang along!!!

I felt so good singing reggae on the beach!!!

There were some people who enjoyed our music!

They asked us to play more but the sky went clear so we stopped playing and returned to the volleyball court!!!

キッズ！

今日は天気が良いので、朝から、ブレークの時まで洗濯をがんがんしていました。！

そんな時、レッスン時間よりも1時間も早く来た、キッズの女の子がいました。

彼女は小学3年生です！レッスン時間まで、私と一緒に遊びたいといったので。。。

私：“じゃー洗濯物干しごっこしよう！”

女の子“へ？！”

私：“洗濯物干したことない？”

女の子“ない～！でも、やってみた～い！”

私：”Okay, let’s do that!”

そして、洗濯物の干し方を英語で教えました！生活の中から、自然に、覚えるって一番理想だと思います！

彼女は、かなり、楽しそうに、洗濯物を干していて、かわいかったです！

女の子：“今度、お母さんのお手伝いで、洗濯物干そう！”って言ってました！

本当に、子供は素直でかわいいですね！

Jasmine tree

I’ve had a jasmine tree for 4 years!

At first, it was short but it’s been growing a lot!

I’ve been wondering if I should plant it in the ground outside or repot it in a bigger planter.

I asked one of my students about it today. His hobby is gardening. He told me that I should replant it in a bigger planter and I should keep it inside as before.

I’ll do it on my day-off!

今週は、現在完了形と現在完了進行形の説明をすることが多い週でした！

みんな、この文法名を聞くと、ゾッとする人が多いと思いますが、日常会話では本当に頻繁に使われるのです！

The subject of the difference between ” lizard ” and ” gecko ” came up!

I didn’t know they were different! Additionally, we talked about newts. I don’t think I’ve seen one!

The subject was interesting!

I don’t know why but recently I tend to talk about insects or these kinds of things.

I don’t like them, though……..
